As you can see I’ve added some more information to my magazine and included some more bright colours to show a fun and happy theme. My magazine is coming long good and is nearly finished. I’ve made the text colours bright so that it shows how the magazine will be represented and how the audience will se it as a exciting magazine.
This is the start of my magazine project and has been changed since I worked on it recently. I’m going to be working on this from now and will be adding various things to this cover to make it look its best. I’ve started with a big bright title and and important picture in the background, which works as the key signifier.
Added a few more pics to my double page for more effect on the reader. By adding more images it makes the spread look better in my opinion and makes it look more professional. The pictures also link to the colour of the magazine background, which is light blue, as they match it and don’t not look odd to the spread.
As you can see I’ve filled the one page out with details about florida and will do the same for the other page. From including information about Florida it makes the reader more excited as they can read about the various reasons to visit and where to find the best deals for Florida. This is key to the audience as they can read this important information about travelling and take notes for their holiday.
I’ve changed my double page spread around and chosen to do this layout. This makes the double page spread look more brighter and stands out to the reader rather than a dull colour like black. I’ve made the picture less bold and made it more simple by making it fill half of the one page so I can include some information underneath. Also, including more little images makes the double page spread look better and less boring.
This is the start of my double page spread, started with some bright colours and a big picture to catch your eye. From including the big picture in my magazine you can see that I will be laying out information on a water park and how amazing it is. Also the colour choice stands out but also links to the picture at the same time.
Researching different double pages on travel magazine to get a good idea on what I will do for my magazine spread. From these magazine ideas I have got a better idea on how I will lay my double page spread out and how I’ll make it look more professional.
For my presentation I did a powerpoint explaining what my project is based around and how Im going to do it. Other things I talked about would be the reasons for my project and why I chose this instead of other magazine ideas or other projects. At the end of my presentation I answered a few questions on my magazine and finished proudly as I felt my FMP presentation was successful and went well. The things that went well about my presentation was that I gave a clear presentation on what my idea is about and how I will make it good enough to be my FMP.
I’ve changed my cover again slightly by changing the colour of the font to make it more appealing and bright. I’ve also changed the background of the volcano by making it look more sunnier and happy for the audience.
Changed a few things and went back to the start as the design didn’t look that well. It looks better from the original photo. I’ve changed the background and added a more sunny and exciting image. This looks better and changing my title colour to yellow also looks better in my opinion.
Developing my magazine cover by adding a few sub-titles and different fonts to make the cover look professional. I’ve changed the colour of my title as the other colour was a bit dull whereas blue is more powerful and says more about the magazine.
Developed my magazine cover by including a title and other things like the lines and logo for a better layout. I’ve included a big title which instantly says what the magazine is based around, which is travelling. The title “Orlando” is also in a very bright colour so the reader can see this clearly.
Starting with this for my FMP, I’m doing a magazine project. Photo of volcano bay which I personally took in Florida. From this bold picture it will give the reader an instant idea of the topic, which is Florida, and what my magazine will be about.
I’ve been doing more research on different magazine covers and also analysing them in word to get a more solid idea on what to do on mine. From these different magazine covers I have annotated them so I have a better understanding of what to do with mine and how I will lay it out. I’ve also looked at some double page spreads so I can get some good ides for that as well.
